LITERACY FUNDRAISER AIDS LOCAL STUDENTS

Windsor-Essex Literacy Leadership Student Program "WELLSP" is dedicated to providing elementary and secondary school students with literacy and leadership programs in a fun and educational environment. Local best-selling authors, Shelley Awad and Melissa McCormick have joined forces in their commitment to bettering the futures of our younger generation.
Come on out on Sunday, October 21, 2012 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Caboto Club and enjoy great food, great music by British Beat 66 and great prizes including a jewellery sale and baked goods sale. Several local authors will also be on hand for a book signing.
Tickets only $25.00 each; tables of 10 are $250.00. In addition to school presentations, to date, Awad and McCormick have raised over $20,000 to provide books for students in our community. 100% of all proceeds will be used on the program.
