Meet the Greenhouse Kids!

 

My third book will be coming out soon. This picture book will be ideal for children aged 3 to 6 years. Meet the Greenhouse Kids will be a younger version of The Greenhouse Kids series in a poetry format fillled with wonderful illustrations by Glen Hawkes. More to follow as we get closer to a release date.

 

London Kids Expo

 

Join me at the London Kids Expo this weekend, June 18th, 19th and 20th at Victoria Park from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. I'll be located at Booth 112, which I will be sharing with Illustrator and Author, Glen Hawkes.

July 1st - The Amherstburg Ice Cream Festival, Amherstburg. Book signings from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

 

July 10th - Chapters, Fairview Mall, 285 Geneva Street, St. Catharines, Ontario. Book signing 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

July 16, 17 & 18th - Sunsplash Festival 2010, Optimist Park, Belle River, Ontario. Book signings and presentations from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. More details to follow.

 

August 22nd - Indigo, Eaton Centre, Toronto, Ontario. Book readings/signings 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 

August 24th - Presentation at Amherstburg Public School.

September 12th - Niagara Water Festival... details to follow.

 

September 25th & 26th - Ruthven Apple Festival... details to follow.

 

October - We are planning a Book Launch Party for the release of The Greenhouse Kids, Ghost Walk. We are hoping to pair this event with another Halloween related event in our community of Windsor, Ontario. More details to follow as they are known.

 

Readers Grow into Leaders Program

 

I am planning a youth program for elementary schools, and you can help out. I am seeking corporate or individual sponsors who can purchase The Greenhouse Kids books for certain grades in our schools (grades 1 through 6 or part thereof). The books would state whom they were donated by and you are welcome to include your own private message. This would allow me to give each student a free signed book at the end of my author presentation. Can you imagine the excitement the children will experience. This is especially important for those students who are not introduced to reading at home, or for those who simply cannot afford books.
