This mini greenhouse is perfect if you would like to start some seeds growing. All you need is a two-liter soda bottle!

Soak the soda bottle in warm soapy water to loosen the paper label and then remove it. Take the bottle out of the water and rinse and dry it.

About 4 inches from the bottom, cut a small slit in the bottle. Next, cut all the way around the bottle to remove the bottom. Trim the edges so that they are nice and smooth. Throw out the bottom part.

It's easy to use this mini greenhouse. All you have to do is place it over top of a small plant pot. Seeds are best started in small pots.

You can also move the mini greenhouse to a sunny window sill. This will heat up the plants and create additional moisture.

It's a good idea to remove the cap, which allows the plants to get some fresh air. Send us a picture of your mini greenhouse to shelley@greenhousekids.com
